Juniors

The Dolphins Water Polo Club's junior program is based on competing in the Water Polo WA competitions described below. Much of the activities of the program revolves around preparing the young players for each game and teaching them both individual and team based skills whilst ensuring they are also fit enough to play the game to the point that it is both challenging and fun.

Water Polo Western Australia (WPWA) runs an inter-club junior competition on Sundays for B Division teams (school year bassed eligibility) and Monday nights for A Division teams (date of birth eligibility).
The A Division competition is age group based and caters for 14s, 16s and 18s. Ages are determined by how old the player will be in the year the competition ends. For example:- this current summer's season will end in March 2021, therefore a player born in 2004 will not be eligible to play in the 16s competition because they would be 17 in 2021, even though they may be 16 at the start of the season.
The B Division competition is school year based and caters for yrs 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 & 11/12. The school year group is based on the school year the player is in at the start of the season..
Players competing in this competition will be required to attend training sessions. The competition is competitive with clubs taking great pride in their teams' achievements.

Training details can be access via the Training Schedule tab at the top of the page.
