The Journey to AYC
AYC is about much more than the week of competition.
Months before the tournament, players commit to regular training, fitness, team selections, fundraising, and preparation. Coaches, managers, volunteers, and families all play an important role in ensuring the team is ready to travel and compete.
Every training session, fundraising event, and team activity helps prepare players both physically and mentally for the challenges of national competition.
Competition Week
Tournament week is fast-paced, exciting, and rewarding.
Teams may play multiple games each day, making recovery, nutrition, hydration, and teamwork just as important as performance in the pool.
Away from competition, players take part in team meetings, recovery sessions, team dinners, and social activities, creating memories and friendships that often last well beyond the tournament.
